Its seem like it since you can login with your PSN. I can't tell because I can't login with an Canadian PSN account so… I closed the account as soon I found out about that. (Yes, I did create my account just now then deleted.)
Wow... I'm kinda suprised by them having a 'Playstation' branded VISA...
It looks like a mash up of Club Nintendo and the Xbox Rewards program currently run by Microsoft. An interesting mix of loyalty reward and direct marketing. Wonder if it'll go Worldwide...

It's kinda like Club Nintendo and the rewards are much better (you can get actual retail titles and PSN cash cards) unfortunately unless you spend lots of money in PSN or other Sony products you are not gonna be able to cash rewards (you only get 1 point for each dollar spend and 1 point is basically one cent) so you need for 1000 points to trade for $10 cash card. If you get the Playstation Visa then its worth it since you get 5 points per each dollar spent on the PSN plus one point on anything else you pay with the card but you can't get the card only you live in the U.S. so the program doesn't do anything me I just never gonna spend enough to get a reward (you only have 6 months I think to cash your points, is not the 2 years club Nintendo gives you).
So basically Club Nintendo is easy to get rewards but there are not rewards worthwile, Sony Rewards are great but its too difficult to build points unless you have the Playstation Visa
Saying that there are no worthwhile awards on Club Nintendo is bull poop. I got many games and many cool awards from Club Nintendo.
don't know about Sony but as long its benefits aren't locked exclusively to US and Canada(for America) it's already 100% better than Club Nintendo.....
goodbyes are a sad part of life but for every end there's a new beggining so one must never stop looking forward to the next dawn

As I said the rewards are much better but you won't be able to cash any unless you spend lots of money on Sony products or get the Playstation Credit Card, since you can't get the playstation credit card unless you live in the U.S. the sony rewards program is kinda useless outside the U.S.
