Well, this is not the ordinary... But anyways, we've seen Rare do good shooters (Perfect Dark, GoldenEye 007 [both on N64]) and a bad one.. to what most people say about it (Perfect Dark Zero).
At least Rare is finally getting off their bum and into a good venture. If they blow at this, Nintendo's waiting with open arms and some heated arguments from 360 fanboys demanding Rare back to M'soft.
Well, we've seen Natal at work. Will this indeed workout with the possibility of future 360 shooters utilizing this later on?
@Sylverstone, why would Nintendo want Rare back if they make yet another awful game? That sentence is a bit confusing, but if it means what I think it does, I don't think that is Nintendo's kind of logic. If the game is anything like PDZ, I really couldn't care less. They are hardly the same game studio anymore, after all, staff-wise, and their output since departing Nintendo has clearly shown this, if it were not evident enough in Star Fox Adventures.
@Machu, that would be awesome. I'm so good at that.
@Machu.... well they already have Burnout running on Natal so Im sure they will make it work. Sounds promising and RARE is prob one to actually make it work.

Yeah but that is just reading which direction you are steering/leaning. With a shooter you would need accuracy, and without some sort of pointer, I honestly can't imagine how it could be done. Again, I don't get it. 0_o
EDIT: Maybe I'll go do some research on the tech instead of just saying 'I don't get it'.
See. Attachment!!! That's the only way I can see around it. Which kinda defeats the purpose of natal.
Perhaps you could use any item, be it a broom handle, a toy gun, a wii-mote, and then natal maps it in before play. Ergh, I don't know, I'm really struggling with this one.
Screw this rumor is that Rare has been working on Kameo 2 and that got canned for the Natal project. when have made a bad game this Gen though.
why do people complain about how they either suck or have no work. they have been pretty busy and making qualilty games. Kameo,Nuts&Bolts,Viva Pinainta 1&2,the banjo remakes, the perfect dark remakes,Perfect dark zero, and microsoft avatars.
so why do people complain about rare?

I don't complain at all, Nintendo sold 'em at the perfect moment. Then, they combined the cash from that ($375million), with the cash from Pokemon, and financed development of the Wii. Sorted!
rare are nowt without the stamper brothers, bless 'em
EDIT: Machu fail. Ninty only got half of the amount mentioned.

I agree, RARE will never be the same without Chris & Tim. God bless them both. Wouldn't it be great if they worked for Nintendo?
