I was waiting for this. I've got my credit card out and ready to strike, Sony.
And the lack of BC at the moment doesn't really bug me because I'll be busy catching up on all the ps3 games I missed.
And as for the price of games... I've seen good PS3 games for cheaper than mediocre Wii games. They have better sales. Recently at EBGames/Gamestop, they had MGS4 and PoP for $9.

I have one, backwards compatible. I don't know if it's fully or not, but I have never had it fail for PS2 or PS1 games. Not sure if I want to sell it yet, but how much would you be willing to pay for one?

Well, I've got to say that now I am DEFINITELY sold on buying a PS3
I've been waiting for SO long to be able to afford one, and now I finally can! To be honest, I'm mainly excited about older games than newer ones. I've been DYING to play DMC4 for years now. and of course I'll be downloading Fat Princess day one
