Least surprising announcement ever, but still cool.

I hope it doesn't release this year. With Ground Zeroes on the way, I want Kojima and his talented team to take their time with both games and provide the best experience(s) possible.

It's fitting because that's what Kojima does.

So yeah, uh, YES! Ground Zeroes runs into TPP! It's like a dual release but with a cliff hanger that's already known by fans. I'm sure GZ will end with Big Boss in a coma whereas TTP will begin where it left off.

I'm betting an entire dollar that the Metal Gear to come after this will be the reimagining of the NES original. Seriously. <3

OH MAN!!! I can't possibly described how excited I am!!!!! This and Ground Zeroes are going to be an incredible experience! So much hype!!

@6ch6ris6 Oh, that music very much did fit!

Time for the poor Nintenoobs to complain about another game they'll never have!

I think the music didn't fit either. BTW, supposed Nintenoobs can own a PS3, too. They are sold like any other device afterall, but I don't think anyone will be buying a PS3 if they didn't already have one for MGS4.
I have a PS3 and will be watching what happens with this.

So um, yeah. I'm hoping that wasn't snake in the last seconds? 'Cause that wasn't David Hayter! D:

That was Big Boss probably leaving the hospital after awaking from his coma.

Isn't it the same game as Ground Zeroes? They were just "announced" as two different games but it's supposed to be the same now.

"The Phantom Pain was originally announced as two games, one titled Ground Zeroes and one titled The Phantom Pain. Kojima Productions and Konami did not confirm their involvement on The Phantom Pain and instead announced The Phantom Pain under the fake pseudonym of Moby Dick Studio. The two games were thought to be separate until, after fan suspicion, they were revealed to be the same in early 2013."

So much for Metal Gear 4 being the last one.
Looks cool, though. This is probably the only PS exclusive I actually enjoy.
