Well, getting XBL was easier than I thought. I just plugged it into an ethernet cable and signed up. I downloaded all the freebies for PGR3, PGR4, and Forza 2. Couldn't update PGR2, though. Oh well. I also updated the dashboard. Looks nice. In a couple weeks I'll be picking up a 1600 points card for four more updates.

Be sure and check out XBLA! Lots of gems there.

I tried out the demo for TMNT Arcade. Hasn't aged well at all. I'll take the GC game. Next time I'm downloading, I'll have a look around the arcade titles. For now, I'll just save up for a couple 1600 points cards so I can update PGR3, PGR4, and Forza 2. I especially wanted XBL so I could update Forza 3 when I get it, since the DLC will be free to anyone who buys it new.

remember you can check out the Marketplace from Xbox.com and queue whatever you want from the to download the next time you sign in on your console... also, you don't have to leave you Xbox on while download it, unless you deactivated the Background download, it will continue downloading after it¡'s been turned off, very handy for downloading big stuff.

Nah, I find the 360 inferior to the PS3.
I have a PS3 and a Wii (yet I play my Wii more than the PS3), and I used to have a 360 but got sick and bored of it, even then I had all the "must haves" for the darn system and it grew to be an eyesore when i would always played my Wii, so I traded it in to my local third party retailer and bought a DSi.

Just for you.

I have to plug my 360 into our router, which is next to my dad's computer, so it's a tad inconvenient. Therefore, I'm only going online when I download my updates. I'll look into the free arcade games.

I like having the Cadillac V-Series on PGR3. Can't wait til I get points cards for more downloads. I could look for the Forza 2 platinum edition but I'd rather just pay the 2000 points so I don't have to sell my original.

@ VGP - Inform yourself before you purchase anything.

@ Everyone elese - Using a direct connection ethernet cable is much better then using a wireless signal for online gaming, just move your damn modem to around your TV you lazy bums!

In other news check out Braid and Shadow Complex great games which you can download on the 360.
