Topic: Bland Localization Titles

Am I the only one who gets bothered when games with awesome sounding titles like Bravely Default Flying Fairy and Persona 4 Arena the Ultimax Ultra Suplex Hold are localized with totally bland titles like Bravely Default and Persona 4 Arena Ultimax...... the game is, of course the most important thing, but crazy Japanese word salad titles are also part of the charm.

If this is what bothers you then you really need to go outside.

Bravely Default was really named Bravely Default: Where the Fairy Flies. Because it makes more sense for the spoiler.

I vastly prefer these streamlined names, myself. Bravely Default is still a dumb name, of course, not that I have a suggestion for a better one.

What I think of word salad, it's "Tetris: The Absolute: The Grand Master 2 Plus" (and about 95% of all Street Fighter games, of course).

The Legend of Legacy

I keep forgetting I want to import Legend of the Legendary Heroes: The Legendary Saga for the PSP for the name alone.
(all I know is that it's an anime license)

To be fair, they're still 100X less boring than the generic one word titles major western games get sometimes.
