Topic: Best Spyro PS2 Game?

I enjoyed the first 3 spyro games for the original Playstation and I would like to know which of the PS2 Spyro games are good. I have heard that many of the newer Spyros are not very good. I also would like to know which ones are most like Ripto's Rage and Year of the Dragon. Thanks.

My favorite on the PSone is the original. As for PS2, I never messed with any of them.

Yep the best ones are on PSone. Do yourself a favor and just skip the rest. I hate to sound negative but its true.

I've already beat the first 3 several times each. It is a shame that such a great series to begin with turned so terrible.

Yep thats what I thought. I think its because a different company did the PS2 ones they even went as far and rebooted the series with one of them. It was a shame that they let that series go all to heck. I actually enjoyed the first Spyro more than Mario 64.

I liked "enter the dragonfly" for the ps2. Only I seem to recall terrible loading times and quite poor graphics for ps2 standards. I like croc much more for the ps1. At least the series died (after 2 games and ports for the GBC) before his face and games got completley warped like spyro.
