Topic: What are your most wanted Switch ports?

@StuTwo I completely forgot about that!! I do think it's curious that Sony and Microsoft don't do much with all the smaller IP they own. If I were them I would set up a division to work with these A or AA IPs and aim to release one game per month, it could complement their bigger releases really well and would be low risk.

Commander Keen is a great example of an IP that in different circumstances could have been much bigger with games still being released today.

Metroid Samus Returns (3DS)

I had been eyeing this game for a while . . . and finally happened across a copy that I've been playing on our Nintendo 2DS.

This game has quickly become one of my favourite games.

I'm trying to finish it so I'd be in the mood to start Metroid Dread.

Would I play through Metroid Samus Returns again on Switch if I manage to finish it on 2DS? I don't know. Maybe. Perhaps. After playing it, it has really honed me in on the type of game I enjoy most. So it is actually pretty probably that I'd want to play it again on Switch / Switch2.

But I'm also thinking of how good the game is . . . and how many gamers are missing out on the game because they did not have a 3DS / 2DS.

EDIT: Oh yeah, I had been reading that it is MercurySteam that developed Samus Returns and Dread. Looking at what they have developed . . . it has gotten me curious about the Castlevania Lords of Shadow games. I've never played . . . I know one is available on 3DS cartridge . . . but it is so expensive to get . . . LOL . . . but I've enjoyed Samus Returns so much I'm curious how well MercurySteam did with the Castlevania franchise.
