So I want to connect my Switch to my PC monitor but there's no HDMI port on my Monitor so I bought a female HDMI to male DVI adapter. When I plug the adapter into my monitor and turn the Switch there's no signal. I tried hooking my PC to the adapter so I know that the adapter isn't bad.
Well DVI does not support audio so they probably intentionally disabled it. Try an adapter to DisplayPort if you have it. If not.. time to get a new monitor.
