@Fujin You can't go wrong with the current model but if you'd prefer a new model, perhaps wait until E3 to see if its revealed. If not, then it likely won't be coming this year.
I'm in the same boat as you. As has been suggested, I'm waiting to see what E3 brings. If there is no pro Switch of any sort, I'll probably cave before the year is out.
Yeah, at this point wait and see what happens at E3...I figured a new Switch wouldn't happen at all. At this point I can never tell what Nintendo is up to anymore. lol

The Switch Mini/Lite will arrive later this year at a lower price point. The Super Switch / Switch 2 / Switch Pro will arrive in 2020 to compete with PS5 and Xbox Scarlet. Switch 1 games will be playable on Switch 2, but Switch 2 games won't be playable on Switch Mini/Lite or Switch 1. So I recommend that you either wait for the Switch Mini/Lite or wait a year and a half for Switch 2.
