Hi there! Long time reader first time caller and all that...
Last year, during a direct, as a side note, it was announced that the Shadowrun trilogy of squad based tactical turn-based rpgs would be ported to switch in 2022. I used to love those games on pc and was very much looking forward to replaying them on my switch.
Since the initial announcement however, nothing else has been revealed with regard to those games (other than the corresponding eshop page disappearing 😲 and the games apperently being rated for a release on ps- & xbox-machines). Does anyone have any info at all? Could someone at nintendolife maybe reach out to nintendo and ask for a statement?
I fear I might never get to enjoy shadowrunning on my commute 😔
Probably a slight delay due to Paradox Interactive's plan for a physical release via Limited Run? LRG have made it known they'll be doing so. The question is, will preorders for the physical release happen before or after the digital release? There almost zero consistency from LRG in this regard.

@Slowdive yes, i had heard this, but was under the impression that the games had only been rated for ps and xbox. Does the screenshot say anything about a release window?
Well, I pre-ordered the trilogy in the eshop, since it had 25% off what would have been the price of only 2 of the games individually, which made the trio a much better £27 .... I used 200 gold coins & got a top-up card for the rest, with my Game Reward points, lol
Well, it wouldn't let me pay for it now, @Severus_Snape .... Don't they have those cards for putting money on the eshop wherever you are? The £25 one has Yoshi on it Except they had a special offer for 10% off if I had digital only, which obviously suited me better anyway!
Oh, I see. Yes, they do have those here, never knew they were called that.
I think I ran into the same issue: thought the eshop was forcing me to pay with coins. I had to scroll waaaay down past A LOT of fine print to find the regular "purchase"-button.
Well, if you 'paid' by card, it wouldn't take the money at the time, since they'll only do that a week before release for pre=orders, @Severus_Snape .... That's what I meant by it wouldn't let me buy it! But since I had enough reward points with Game to buy the digital top-up code, it made more sense to do that & then I won't have to think about that 1
Anyway, I'm definitely looking forward to playing them on my Switch at some point
