Topic: Question about Game Saves after RMA

I had to send my sons Switch in for repair and they wiped it. He wants his saves back (assuming they are tied to the account). However, he's been playing Smash Bros for two weeks without signing into his account.

If he signs in now, will it lose his Smash Bros progress, or will that be merged to his account?
