This is where you talk about all things Puyo Puyo tetris 2!
Fire Emblem Three Houses is my favorite game
Ashe is the best character in FE:3H
Waluigi For Smash
The game I want most on switch is a new WarioWare (Welp. we got that!)
My favorite movie is Toy Story 3
i really liked the fine tuning between the two modes! it's not like you get any advantage playing puyo or tetris against each other.
but i didn't put much time in the campaign. do you think finishing the campaign can help me to improve in puyo?
@teo_o well, I guess just play! I'm bad at Puyo as well

Puyo Puyo Tetris 2 is the clear winner of the August direct, in my opinion. I longed for another amazing puzzler on Switch with a ton of modes and content (as well as utilizing an art style that isn't "generic" and have personality) and this upcoming game looks to be it for me.
This is probably the best puzzle game on switch coming out this year!

I am very excited for the demo that (Hopefully) comes out soon in NA!

I ended up getting it digitally as it's the type of game that I'll pick up and play a bit in between other games and it means I don't need to carry around my physical copy of the first game anymore. Just started the story and I haven't played Puyo Puyo since I played through the first game and I'm quickly remembering how bad I am at it. At least I've got the Tetris side of things covered.

It gets hard! Next thing you know, there's a huge wall of junk blocks.
@rockodoodle I got 3 stars on all the story levels in the first game easily enough without ever fully getting a good grasp on how to play Puyo Puyo so hopefully I can fumble my way through this one too, haha.
I'm two worlds down and the only trouble so far has been with some of the skill battle stages as the CPU teams early game have so little HP that it's a bit tedious to hit the target score before defeating them.

I think I made it half way through and gave up on story mode.
I'm only on world 3 and suddenly the CPU became merciless at Puyo Puyo to the point that I couldn't win so I was like what is going on. Turns out it was because I had auto difficulty enabled and I guess I was doing so well at the Tetris stages that the Puyo Puyo stages became impossible for my skill level. Guess I'll be leaving that setting off from now on.
@Northwind The A button actually does rotate clockwise in Tetris 99 and there isn't even a setting to reverse it (I just loaded it up to double check). If you do want to flip it in Puyo Puyo Tetris 2 though, there is an option for that in this game.
@Northwind Maybe you were playing with Y instead of A in Tetris 99? That's the only reason I can think of that would make it feel backwards. Otherwise you must just be misremembering I guess, haha.
1-8 was honestly the worst. I originally got luck with it playing Puyo Puyo by getting a four combo straight into a full clear just by chance but then I had to go back and do it again (for reasons you'll find out soon I'm sure) and there was no way I could fluke that a second time so I just went with Tetris and scored only single lines to avoid doing any damage. Tedious but at least it gets the job done.
