Hi All
I am really thinking about getting a Switch the only problem is I only have the use of my Right Hand.
I am asking if anyone knows where I could buy an adapter to enable one hand game play.
I think I read that the Xbox Adaptive Controller can be modified to work with the Switch, I don't know if that would suit your specific problem though. Otherwise I hope the accessory that was mentioned above will help you.
@SwitchForce I didn't mean any offense
I simply wish that the console makers would consider the requirements for people with disabilities.
Why should they be excluded from gaming?
@Charlie_Girl Thank you
I bought a Xbox years ago but gave it to my nephew as I could not play it
haven't tried since
I just thought the switch looked like something I could use
@ReaderRagfihs
Yes but im sure it cold be tweeked alittle for the right hand maybe im wrong
@Dogorilla Ill check that out thanks very much
my issue is that only my right hand functions
the fingers and thumb on my left hard don't work
Here's a video which shows the Xbox adaptive controller working on the Switch: https://www.nintendolife.com/news/2018/11/video_using_the_xbox...
Hope that helps. By the way, I know of a few Switch games that can be played one-handed with just a single Joy-Con, such as Pokémon Let's Go Pikachu/Eevee, The World Ends With You, and the indie game Bomb Chicken.
I've only got use of my right hand and have an adapter to slot joy cons in back to back.
Twin stick games (eg gungeon and splatoon) are beyond me but I can get by ok on games like Revelations 2, Yule Warriors and Mario kart.
