Hello again. does anyone know why I can't connect my Switch to my phone hotspot ?

@Edyrem it can be a bit finicky. If your phone has the option to “maximize compatibility” in its hotspot settings, turn that on.

Hmmm @Eel I can't see anything like that in my phone settings. I have Nothing Phone 1 and I can say that the hotspot works fine with other devices, even with my laptop, but not my Switch.
Bluetooth tethering is Off thou, could that be something... ?
Again, no other options in the hotspot section...

@Eel, I sorted it. It was the band preference, in hotspot settings, mine was set to 5Gh and it needs to be 2.4Gh. Now it connects perfectly fine 👌

That must be what the “maximize compatibility” option does tbh.

Don't cut yourself short get a 512G or 1tb if you can afford it. microSD carts cost less then years past so don't skimp on this. You may think your saving going 128G but min should b400gb sdcarts. eShop games takes up sd space regardless.
