Topic: Most popular online multiplayer games on the Switch

I’ve just bought my Switch, November is a great month, and I’m looking to boost my library with popular online multiplayer games. For shooters, I got Rogue Troopers Redux, and I’m getting Doom on the 10th... Not so keen on Splatoon 2, but I might give it a shot. Ultimately I want to know what games have a large online community? Thank you in advance.

Splatoon 2 and Mario Kart 8: Deluxe are most likely the most active communities. ARMS and Minecraft seems to be pretty active as well.

Also, Rocke Leauge is releasing on November 14 and will have a huge active community by default since it has cross-platform play with Xbox and PC.

@DizzyDee81 Splatoon 2 is definitely worth a shot. It's a far, far better online multiplayer game than single-person shooter - and the single-player campaign isn't even that shabby. There's a very good reason why it's, I think, the second most popular single-format game in Japan this year (behind Monster Hunter on the 3DS).
