@Anti-Matter
That’s the bedrock edition. Op wanted Minecraft Nintendo switch edition. It was available for about a year but then bedrock was created. It is no longer available to purchase.
Currently playing: Pokemon Soul Silver, Mario RPG
Enos 1:15
I want to ask.
Is that version (Bedrock edition) really worthy to get when the Switch version in physical release still available ?
I was thinking, if that version cannot be obtained anymore even you have to use other people's account, my advice to you is just let them go. Moving on. Get the available version you can play so you will not feel frustrated.
This is getting into extremely risky territory, but if you bought an account with the legacy version, you might be able to move the files onto your account.
Something could break if done incoirrectly though.
I have no idea, it could be as simple as dragging the folder that says “Minecraft” from one sd card to another, but r it could be the kind of thing programmer’s have nightmares about.
It would only even be possible if the data was on a micro sd card to begin with, as it isn’t possible to move it from the system memory.
Whatever you do, be careful when playing around in the files.
You can’t transfer games from one account to another.
However, once you have an account with access to a certain game, and make your Switch the Primary System of that account, then every other profile in the Switch will have access to that account’s software and dlc.
@Tasuki the old “legacy” version was made specifically for consoles. It had a slightly different interface, and had some modes and features that did not make the cut when consoles switched to “bedrock” (the version made originally for mobile).
For example, legacy had exclusive mini games, and you could customize (add layers to) a flat world, which is unique to those old console versions. Additionally, as mentioned before, you could transfer worlds up from wiiu to switch.
Of course, since the legacy versions were discontinued, they’re all stuck on older content releases of the game, while bedrock continues to be updated regularly. Bedrock also has access to the Minecraft store.
@Tasuki It's probably far easier for them to work on a single universal version, specially when it enables them to offer cross-system multiplayer (xbox, switch, ps, mobile, windows... All can play together), and access to even more extra revenue via the minecraft store.
I can give my advice despite I don't play Minecraft games.
If you still have the Bedrock version on your Wii U machine, be granted. Take care of that version, play that version on your Wii U.
To risk your life to get Bedrock edition from another user account, it was not worthy with your effort to get them as it was very risky, you might screwed up the process.
Just play your Bedrock version on your Wii U machine and play other version on your Switch.
I know it's very hard to let them go but I believe you can make a good decision from this difficult situation. Choose the right choice that make you happier and less risky rather than being frustrated for unable to get Bedrock edition again on Switch and risk your life in desperate trials and error.
@sewshyfish Yeah he does that all the time doesn't doesn't make sense and then he acts like his statements are fact when they are not and then when you call him out on it he goes on a rant. He's just to toxic.

I gotta hand it to @sewshyfish. Dude has been on this hunt for three years and won't give up. "A" for persistence! Maybe check a shop that sells used games? People bought this, so it has to be out there somewhere. Hang in there, buddy, I hope you find it.
