So whats everyone's plans after midnight collection? im going to get straight home and fire the bad boy up and then session BOTW for as long as possible before my body gives up.
I'm deciding whether I should try my luck at best buy or gamestop on Thursday. Does anyone know what a gamestop premier location is? I saw that tag next to some on the list of midnight openings
Just been into game to pre purchase, got my raffle ticket and I'm first in the queue. Whoop whoop! 1 minute past midnight I'll be racing home with my brand new switch.
@BigBadJohn I would still recommend getting there early. If other people have pre purchased and got there before you they will likely get served first. Obviously it should be pretty fast for pre paid customers but always allow for cock ups.
I will pick the neon switch at midnight from smythstoys alongside zelda, on friday i will be getting the grey switch from tesco alongside super BR and switch 1-2 from gameseek.
Messanger bag and switch case with screen protector will be picked up from game at midnight, joy con charger will be delivered from game hopefully by friday and 256gb is already in da house
add me on wii u ( cyrex78)
Switch : SW-1239-7762-0605
Anyone have experience of midnight launches at GAME UK stores? ive pre paid but wondering how it will work? the guy at the store said i will just be able to collect it at midnight but i wonder if its gonna be a messy situation with some people also paying on the night. Assuming they will have my order ready and bagged as i have been given a ticket with a number on. Perhaps they will hand it over before midnight and then keep us in the store until the clock hits 00:00?
@ChrispyNoodle On the night they will hand out raffle tickets as people enter the store. As you already have your ticket you will be before them. Once it hits midnight they'll start shouting out numbers, those who have prepaid will grab their bags and go.
@ChrispyNoodle If you are lucky, they might even have some games consoles (old and new) setup to play games. It all depends on the store. My store is very lucky as they are going all out for it
The bf is going super early. Perhaps unnecessarily. He said he'll go around 6 or 7. No doubt that should be early enough to guarantee a walk in, barring some horrible line management
I've got mine preordered and prepaid. I chose a store on a retail park so I can grab it get in my car and go. I'm a 38 year old man who's planning escape routes so I can get my shiny toy home quickest. I think I've got Switch fever!
