I purchased 3 Nindies within 1 week(Golf Story, Stardew Valley and Axiom Verge)
Im not complaining but there's a plethera of Nindies on Switch. And when an indie is good, its damn good.
I once said Indies aren't real games, and i strike that comment down and im going all in with the good Nindies for Switch.
True 3rd party games ill mostly buy on PS4 but Nindies feel right at home on Switch.
So what do you guys think?, Nindies are the true new 3rd party games for Switch?

I think it’s a trend that has been going on from the 3DS and Wii U that’s carried on to Switch. The Switch is a welcoming platform for the indie games for sure. As far as third party games for me, I’ll buy them on Switch if they are compatible to Xbox One so I have the versatility.

Yes, of course.
3rd party or Nindie label, who cares ?
As long the game is good, that's more than enough. We don't need those label.

Try these games also :
1. Portal Knights (March 2018)
2. Poi : Explorer Edition (24 Oct 2017)
3. My Time at Portia (January 2018)
4. Earthlock : Festival of Magic (December 2017)
5. Overcooked : Special Edition

For Big 3rd party games such as Kingdom Hearts, Final Fantasy, The Sims, LEGO games, etc, I will definetely choose Switch version if the Switch version are available. But if not or not yet (later), I will choose ps4 version.

Definitely agree that there is a lot of value to be found in the indies. Binding of Isaac, Fast RMX, Shantae and GEM have given me many hours of good times, some of them a lot more than the full-price games I've bought. And Stardew Valley is poised to overtake almost every game on my Switch for hours played. You don't need to have high production budgets to make great games.

But it's good to have A-list third party titles on the Switch, too, and I'm really looking forward to things like Doom and Skyrim. I don't do multiple consoles because my time and money are limited, responsibilities blah blah blah, you know the song, so it's really nice to see that the third party support for Switch is looking very solid. The more games we have, the better for everyone, whether they're "Nindies" or "AAA" games.

If a game is good who cares if it's from a AAA big name studio with millions of dollars or was made by one obsessive compulsive guy in his basement and 40 bucks and hope?

I love the versatility of the Switch, when I can get a game on the Switch, I am gonna. If there is a game not on the Switch that I really want to play, then I will get it elsewhere.

What's great about games like Stardew Valley and Golf Story not only topping the charts but getting a lot of positive WoM, is that it makes the big developers look a bit silly and hopefully encourages them to put more emphasis on quality in their future releases.

You guys had me at blood and semen.

What better way to celebrate than firing something out of the pipe?

They COULD be, or at least part of the 3rd party offerings. However big 3rd party titles have only just started making their way onto Switch and several are expected over the next few months. How it will all turn out is anyone's guess.

Simply put, sit on the question for another year or so and then the answer should appear.

I'd rather have proper 3rd party support AND indie support. We probably won't get proper 3rd party support because Nintendo keep gimping their hardware and not giving developers the specs that they want and/or need. If I had to choose between the two, I'd rather have great 3rd party support.
