Topic: Do the SanDisk-made Switch-branded microSD cards work for 3DS once I format them?

I want to know this because they're really cheap and it seems like an easy option. I know 3DS games don't take up that much space but I only use 32GB right now, which is a shame since 64GB is so cheap.

Ah, well, I don't know about that, @Tanooki12 .... If you want to try that, I don't see how it'd hurt

I can confirm formatting works, I'm using a 64 GB card in my 3DS right now.

The supported size is up to 32GB on 3DS XL units. You can't make it bigger by using a larger card. Only the Switch can do that up to 2tb AFAIK.

Support is only 32gb any bigger and your wasting space. What your saying isn't correct or Nintendo would say otherwise.
