I was just wondering. I thought I read somewhere that you can, but I can't remember where. I did some searching and can't really find a definitive answer. I own TotK and BotW and I'm getting tired of constantly switching the physical cartridges to play the games.

@desktop No you can't. Do you really think that Nintendo would make it that easy to make copies of physical games so people can pirate them.

@desktop You'd have to buy a game digitally if you want to play the game without a cartridge.

Although, if BOTW and TOTK are the only two carts you are swapping in and out, you'd only need to buy one of them digitally to avoid the swapping carts hassle. So, you keep the one cartridge in full time, and have the other full game stored digitally.

Ok, thank you. That's what I was thinking, but I wasn't sure. And honestly, no, I didn't think about the pirating thing.

FYI. There is but that'a out of bounds discussion on NL rules. You can find those discussion on the internet but you have to find those info without NL posts or threads about it. And Switching games cart isn't that hard and eShop if you want both those Zelda games on your MicroSD card to play from.
