So in a terrible move, I got rid of my Switch a few months ago (was trying to ease the financial pain of owning too many consoles).
I have since come to my senses and will pick another one up (thankfully the price has been cut since).
My original Switch was the Mario Odyssey bundle which included the download code for the game. When I sold my Switch, I deactivated the eshop from the system and when I go into my Nintendo account online, it shows my prior purchases, including the redemption of the Odyssey and the transaction number.
I should be ok to re-download it on a new Switch, correct?
It will be disheartening to not see any of the 300 or so stars I had, but will give me the option of picking up and playing this wonderful game as I need!
Thanks everyone - yes, I deactivated the account on the old Switch. Hoping to pick up a new one this weekend. Will be downloading Donkey Kong Tropical Freeze and Owlboy to start!
Huh, hadn't realized that. RESEARCH Plugging the numbers into a currency converter, looks like Canada ends up paying a bit more at base. Before taxes, it would otherwise have been 392.99 Canadian, from what I can determine.
