@Pizzamorg do you own a Wii U? If you do and want to go physical that’s the way to go, it’s pretty cheap. I saw Bayo 1 for like £8 somewhere. But if you don’t care about platforms or buying it digitally, £3 on steam all the way. It just makes too much sense. Unless you care about portability. In that case there’s only one option. Like for me the hybrid gaming factor is important. I’d like to be able to play my games on TV and take it with me on the go. So while I also own an Xbox series X & PS4 if a game is also coming to Switch, i buy it on Switch regardless of the Visual disparity and fps. Visually Bayo on Wii U and Switch are similar with Switch having a better performance. It’d be a good experience on Switch but comes at a full price, perfect for first timers. I didn’t buy it on Switch because i have both the games physically for my Wii U and still play them to this day.

So best bet is 3 quid for the first game on PC and then switch to Switch for the 2nd and 3rd games?
@Pizzamorg Have you played Bayo 2? because i was assuming you’ve already played 1 & 2 and wanted to double dip on 1 because for whatever reasons you don’t have access to it. If you haven’t played Bayo 2 just go for the physical version on Switch. It comes with both Bayo 1&2 with 2 being on the cartridge and 1 as a downloadable game 🙂

I am not sure if I have. I have memories of playing the original on 360, but no real memory of Bayo 2. I'll try and hunt down that physical edition, thank you.
For anyone wondering why more Bayo 3 gameplay wasn't shown during yesterday's Direct, don't worry. Keep in mind that last month Platinum Games CEO Atsushi Inaba mentioned that the game is "on the verge of going gold." Personally, at first I thought the game would slip into 2023, but now I think it'll fit snuggly into an October release. I'll be worried if we get into August and a release date hasn't been locked in.

@Magician Worried for what reason? The game is obviously on the way, they are not gonna cancel it at this stage, it's gonna come out when it's ready. Since it wasn't shown yesterday, that means it just won't be out in the first half of the year, which is looking very packed already.
@Troll_Decimator As I said, I originally expected the game to slip into 2023. I'm indifferent to whether it releases sooner or later. But, as per usual, some folks are bent out of shape about more gameplay footage not being shown yesterday. I am not one of those people. I just thought it would be fun to get ahead of someone who'd bump the thread only to gripe.

@Magician Gotcha, seriously though nobody should be worried, the game is being worked on... when it's ready, it will come out. Nintendo is not paying Platinum for them to never release the game.

@Vortexeo thanks for the reminder didn’t even realise they’d dropped a new trailer. And having just watched the trailer I must say it’s looking dope 🔥 pretty excited for the release as Bayonetta is my favourite action game series of all time. I’ll admit the third hasn’t got me as excited as the second because so far the trailers and gameplay they’ve showed isn’t as over the top as 1 & 2 (funny because it’s still over the top but Bayonetta just needs to hit different), also need more cheesy/cheeky dialogues to add to Bayonetta’s character. Also maybe it’s the art style or just me but the graphics of Bayo 2 looks better to my eyes. I’m only going by what I’ve seen so far and I can’t rule out if everything I’ve mentioned is still in the package.
