Topic: Assasins Creed Black Flag problems

When I start the game on the beach my character when using the controls wont run or jump, when I climb onto a ledge I can only drop, the icon for jumping doesn't come up. Any help is much appreciated. The controls don't seem to work at all and it is quite frustrating.

@hawkfalcons I played through this a few weeks ago and though my memory is hazy of the beginning , i believe at the beach running isn’t available, but shortly in you need to use the free run button, as it allows you to automatically parkour. I think it was the ZR button.
