Last year end of year sales AAA games for Switch were for 25$, for example:
1. Skyrim
2. Doom
3. Wolfenstein
Now a year later they cost 30 USD.
I would understand if Nintendo would have finance problems and if their console did not sell well, but...

Publishers set the prices.

And Bethesda would like a little more from Switch owners this holiday.

@Mogruk In line with what Magician said, the games you listed are third party games, not part of Nintendo. Nintendo controls prices of Nintendo games like Zelda, Splatoon, Fire Emblem, Mario & Luigi games, etc. The up & down movement of sale prices aren't necessarily an indicator of financial stress. If a bunch of new blockbuster games come out and take up all the air, game companies may think they need a bigger sale to get people's attention, and go lower or higher than sale prices in the past.

Those that are NIN IP they can control the prices and 3rd party they control their price they want. If you want to complain - then complain to their company not to NIN.
