Most realistically we could get a hardware reveal in March near GDC and a software blowout at E3. The last three years of E3 have been software focused.

A hologram Mario walks onto a stage with his hands behind his back, as he walks to the centre of the stage he slowly rises his arms revealing the decapitated heads of Bill Gates and Kazuo Hirai in each hand. Once in the centre of the stage Link, a pair of Inklings and Donkey Kong pushes a couch just behind Mario to sit on, Mario then sits and picks up controllers for the NX and shoves a controller each into the mouths of Bill and Kazuo and starts playing Super Smash Bros NX with them.
