Topic: Pokemon Remakes/ New Ideas

If I could remake Gold and Silver similar to LGEP, I'd make the following changes:

• Better level curve, higher leveled trainers and reduce the need for grinding.
• Give the Johto gym leaders Gen 2 Pokemon. No reason Morty shouldn't have Misdreavous and Chuck shouldn't have Hitmontop etc.
• Make Gen 2 Pokemon more accessible throughout the game. Insane how Pokemon like Sneasel, Murkrow, Houndoom and Tyranitar aren't available until the post game, and Skarmory and Donphan aren't available until the very end of Johto. Maybe Tyranitar shouldn't be available until later on (maybe Between Blackthorne City and Victory road), but the rest should be available way later on.
• Flesh out Kanto more

Next remakes will hopefully be Black and White 3, and not Let's Go gen 2, or remakes of the original Black and White.

I think that the next Pokémon game to come out will be Scarlett and Violet which will release this November or December , then I hope they will make B/W remakes around may or June and Johto let’s go remakes on august or September then maybe a DLC to Scarlett and violet around fall and finally b2w2 remakes around January for February in 2024.

@Noel360 But what about Legends: Arceus? What that success and potential, I feel like it would be more likely that they rotate between one new generation (S/V), one new remake (B/W or something else and possibly in a Let's Go format), and then a Legends title. I'll take multiple remakes as well thrown in there, but I would expect a lower cadence, especially as things become more settled post-pandemic-effected-world.

I'd love an optional difficulty spike. Perhaps a "nuzlocke" mode or an increase in level/strats from gym leaders and trainers.

I also really miss having complex rivals. I personally think that there hasn't been a good rival since Wally from ORAS. Give me a ruffian like Silver or a c*** SOB like Blue. Wally was good because of his character arc.

Nintendo should released Pokémon Red, Yellow, Blue, Gold, Silver, Crystal, Ruby, Sapphire, Emerald, FireRed, and LeafGreen on Nintendo Switch Online. Make it still possible to download the Pokemon Bank App on the Nintendo 3DS after the Nintendo 3DS, and Wii U eShop shutdown.

I think the next one will be a Pokemon Black and White remake because the last gen was gen 4, being Pokemon Diamond and Pearl.
