For the last few days it is impossible to buy games on the Nintendo Store in Latin America, both in Brazil where I live and other countries like Argentina. A consumer oriented site, reclame aqui - https://www.reclameaqui.com.br/empresa/nintendo/lista-reclama... - , is collecting complains but they are unanswered.
The fun part is that the credit card is charged, but the download code is never received by email.
No words from Nintendo yet on this issue.
I created an account here in the hope that someone on a country that Nintendo cares about can help us to let Nintendo (of... America, Japan, world?) know of this, since in Latin America we are, as always, basically alone.
I just read the news that Nintendo is no longer going to sell game codes on Europe. I am wondering if that is the reasoning for closing out the stores in Latin America, since at least for Brazil all we got were game codes too.

Mexico's is fine. Maybe it's related to the closing of the 3DS/WiiU eShop in those countries?
Either way, if it's still charging and not sending the emails, that's absolutely something they should fix. Maybe you guys could threaten to take legal action if it's not fixed soon.
My main concern is not only those impacted by the issue, but the fact that the eShop, while very limited, kept prices fixed even though our currency exchange rate in comparison to USD has gone a lot worse since COVID. I was able to buy Origami King for ~$45. Hopefully this is just a long maintenance and things will go back to normal soon
