Okay so my 3DS XL recently got a line of dead pixels down the touch screen. I sent it to Nintendo because it was still under its warranty. But the Warranty didn't cover THAT so they gave me a $65 price which right now is too expensive. If I select to send it back unrepaired it says "Important! If your system is returned unrepaired, we will not be able to recover or transfer any game save data or virtual content (DSi Shop or Wii Shop downloads). To have this data transferred, you must select the "Repair my system" option."
What exactly will be gone from my system? Will I still be able to download it again from the store for free or will my account be wiped?
