Topic: The Christianity Thread

Hey guys!!!! So, I know that no one would have ever imagined that I would start a thread like this ( lol), but I wanted to put this thread up here for a couple of reasons. First of all, if you have any questions about Christianity, what it means to be a Christian, verses in the Bible, etc. this is the place to ask those questions, and I will do my best to answer your questions according to what the Bible says. Also, please feel free to answer other users questions if you too, have input that you would like to share with them about their question. This too is a place that you can post if you aren't a Christian. If you would like to share with us why you don't believe in Christianity, that's great too. But if this is what you're going to do, I encourage you please not simply to bash Christianity (Ex. "Christianity sucks!!!! You're a bunch of weenies!!!!" lol), but to share your logic and reasoning of why you don't believe in Christianity, and what, perhaps, you do believe in. Also, if you have any prayer requests or praises that you would like to share, this also is the place to do that. This really is one of the best communities I've ever found online, and I think this thread is another way that we can encourage each other, and learn more about Christianity and the other beliefs held by the fantastic users of this site. With that said, feel free to post away guys!!!!

@rustythekid: That's the risk that we have to take to live out what we believe. This thread, of course, isn't designed to force anyone to do anything. This is simply a thread where we can share what we believe (Christian or not), and I will do my best to answer any questions that anyone has about Christianity in particular.

@Vendetta: Thanks for the edit. I'll try to protect myself better in the future. lol

Agreed, Rusty. This dialog has seen both beautiful and terrible chapters throughout its 2000 years, and that just comprises Christianity. Matters of faith are extremely personal, and therefore not easily imposed upon others, or swayed within ourselves.

GamerForGod, I'm going to respectfully lock this thread. I invite you place links in your original post to resources, blogs, et cetera regarding Christianity for those who would like to learn more, or discuss it with you or others as informed as you. I believe that such conversations are worthy of their longevity (see above), but to have such a thread become a staple on the forums is not a desireable outcome for Nintendo Life. I simply feel that our forums should remain agnostic as it relates to matters of faith, while it is our fraternity in gamesmanship that draws us here instead.
