I had a thought, that day-one updated should be banned. Not day-two updates, but day-one. That way publishers couldn't rely on them, and would have to make sure the game on the disc works just fine. I know it'll never happen, but is everyone's thoughts on it?
Actually, "Day one updates" are fine. Sometimes bugs make it through testing and get found after it shipped, perhaps even by feedback from reviewers, so they patch them up. What they should do is limit first-week update size...there's no reason why there should be more than 100 MB of patches day-one...that's just sloppy...

That's actually a really good idea. I honestly want to see that implemented.
I think that Pokemon might have hindered my enjoyment while playing through Final Fantasy 1 (hyper potions, ethers, repels, etc.), but I still managed to enjoy it. Defeating that final boss was satisfying, particularly at the moment where you know that the boss is going down once you beat him.
Backloggery. Now playing: 3D Dot Game Heroes, Donkey Kong, EarthBound Beginnings, Giana Sisters: Twisted Dreams, and Pac-Man Championship Edition DX+.
3DS Friend Code: 0216-1196-2417 | Nintendo Network ID: Electricmastro
I finally finished all 7 Ace Attorney games and it's been a great ride. It's unfortunate, though, that the only game that didn't get released here was pretty flippin' fantastic. Maybe it'll get a proper release in time?
Formally called brewsky before becoming the lovable, adorable Yoshi.
Now playing:
Final Fantasy XIV (PC) | The Legend of Zelda: Link's Awakening (Switch) | Celeste (Switch)

I have about $25 to spend on a game, but I'm not sure what to get.
I almost impulse bought Batman: Arkham Origins: Blackgate (3DS), Resident Evil: Revelations (360), Batman: Arkham City GOTY Edition (360), Ultra Street Fighter IV (360), or Portal 2 (360) at Wal-Mart today, but I decided to pass on all of them (they were each $20).
I'll probably wait until I go to GameStop and see what they have used. TBH, I want something for my 3DS, and I'm not too far away from one of Nintendo's $30 titles (such as DKCR3D or NSMB2), so hopefully a used copy shaves off just enough for me to get one (especially if they have a copy that doesn't have the box).
I also could just buy a new SD card (the two 2GB cards I have are full), and start buying eShop games again, since there's a number of stuff I've missed out on (Like Gunman Clive 2, Ninja Battle Heroes, and DKL, to name a few).
Currently Playing:
Switch - Blade Strangers
PS4 - Kingdom Hearts III, Tetris Effect (VR)
@RR529 If you haven't played it, you can't go wrong with Arkham City. The GOTY edtion is $15 used at Gamestop. If you want something for you 3DS though, I'd go for Rune Factory 4 if you don't have it (it'll last you for a very very long time too). It's $25 used at Best Buy (note Gamestop) if you can still get it with taxes.
Yesterday, I was under huge level of depression. I forgot to see the dentist, realised that fan games are illegal to play even though it doesn't hurt the company or the brand. So I just installed Shadowrun:Dragonfall Director's cut. Hopefully, its just as good as Genealogy of the holy war which I haven't beaten yet but decided not to play it due to the fact that its illegal and I don't want to do anything illegal atleast in gaming.
I wonder if I'm ever worth living in the first place.
