Topic: Pac-Man Championship Edition Series: Which is the best game?

So I have been looking to find something that will scratch this Pac-Man fix that I have right now and the only Pac-Man game on Switch right now is Pac-Man Championship Edition 2 Plus (not including Namco Museum). It looks fun but the thing that is making me hesitant to get it are people saying how inferior it is to C.E. and C.E. DX since it made the ghosts into "pinball bumpers" among other things. I have heard once that the Switch version fixed some of those issues while adding a rather good co-op mode.

Plus, some websites contend this is one of the best Pac-Man games made in recent times so it makes me wonder if those criticizing C.E. 2 are in a vocal minority and that this is just a matter of preference or if the Switch missed out on better games. If the latter is the case, then it's unfortunate because I have always heard how outstanding DX was and I was hoping have a similar experience with C.E. 2 Plus.

So that leaves me with these questions, "is it worth buying Pac-Man C.E. 2 Plus?", "Did Plus actually address those issues?", "Are these new mechanics that bad?", and "What is the best game in the Championship Edition series?".
