People detect photons when they see light with their eyes open, I'm not sure if they detect photons with their eyes closed in the insides of their eyelids, Do people detect photons with their eyes closed in the insides of their eyelids or not?
@jump
I never thought of that link. If it's a photon torpedo, surely it will hit it's target instantly? Unless they are really far apart? Like 10m or something
@Rambler The explosion is photons, the torpedo isn't. It's like a bomb that is encased although they are meant to be able to go at warp speed so yeah, it should be instantly rather than an excuse for some sci-fi action cinematography.
I'm very sad as I have books on both the science of Star Trek and a Klingon dictionary!

I think you may already know the answer to this, but not realize it. Yes, your eyes still see photons when your eyelids are closed. When the sun is out, or there's a bright light, when you close your eyes, you can still see light, granted everything will look red. And with ith your eyes closed, you can also tell when you cover your eyes with your hands, because you'll see everything gets darker.
@ArtsyGirl13 Hey there, I'm sure there are lots of other websites more suited to this topic. Please try and keep the topics on Nintendo Life relevant, thank you
