Topic: Video game music in unusual places...

Anyway, I was flipping back and forth on the TV with my dad tonight between a college basketball game and Rambo, when I thought I heard something funny. So I asked him to flip back to the basketball game for a second and listened, and lo and behold, my ears were right on tune. In the background of the basketball game... in the stadium... the loud speakers were playing... the Mii Channel music. I was shocked.

Anyone else have any funny/weird/crazy/surprising stories about places they found video game references they didn't expect?

I saw a little clip of Street Fighter II on that big screen thing when I went to a basketball game with my father, and also heard the 1-UP sound from SMB too.
