Have you ever resold a game you've bought to a friend, family member, or someone instead of selling them at a game shop? Also if you have, have you ever made good profit?
The reason i ask is i think game shops really rip you off when you offer games for trade in and i was thinking, why sell a 60 dollar game for 8 bucks at an EB when i can probably get a friend to buy it for 30-40 (instead of them getting a 60 game new)
i bought Armored Core 9 from a movie rental store for $8, and then sold it at game Crazy for about $20
LOL epic win imagine buying something for 80 000 dollars then getting 200 000 dollars for it...thats the same type of thing lol but on a smaller scale obviously
I sell all my games on E-bay unless their a keeper of course. I usually buy my games from e-bay or supermarkets as that's where I find the lowest prices. A lot of the games I sold on E-bay I actually made a profit on e.g bought Metroid Prime 3 for £8 sold it for £18. I buy games from car boots sometimes too then sell em' on E-bay for twice the price. It's the recession guys you gotta do what you can.
I never would trade in a game. Selling on eBay or whatever is always going to be best because the price is going to be higher than the trade, but lower than what gamestop will mark it up for. It's like textbooks for college. I always sold mine on half.com, and made more money than what the bookstore would have given me.
I am way too lazy to think of something clever. My Backloggery
