Topic: Green Guild of Writers

pretty good, Gabe, and a nice couple of reviews just got posted, too by Terra. i was thinking of posting a short story i wrote a little while back. it did win my school's creative writing contest, and it is being published in our lit journal, but i've gotten really mixed reviews on it even from those who voted for it in the contest. Chicken's read it and edited and he helped me a lot, but other than that, i've not had TOO many comments, but the one's i've gotten have been all over the place, so i'd appreciate your responses.

the story is semi-autobiographical and written in a part Hemingway, part Vonnegut style. oh, and a cookie to the person who guesses the game the main character plays towards the end.

nothing new from me for a little while. my short story is up for your perusal, and i could post up the poem i just wrote for my girlfriend for our "anniversary", but it's kinda cheezy and other than that, i've got nothing for a couple weeks.

I wrapped up my omnibus edition of my trilogy (well, except the pictures at the back, which I've decided to cut.) I'm about a week or two away from finishing book 5, The Elf. So that's what's new with my writings.

FInished The Elf back in February and finished editing it last month. I've sent emails to 4 literary agencies to see if they'll bite. WIsh me luck.

luck has been wished. by the way, whatever happened to the guild? with Nanowrimo starting up, it might be a good time to refresh the thing...

Maybe. Maybe not. I revived the thread but we'll see. Btw, there's a thread already for Nanowrimo on here, but I dont have the link handy.

yeah, i know. that thread is actually where i learned about it, and i'll be giving it a go for the first time this year.
