I'll start, how did mario and friends get antigravity technology for their carts In mario kart 8?
@Tanookduke I think it might be based off of floating blocks. We don’t know how even those float. Not even the Mario Movie tried to explain that OR anti-gravity karts.
In the Splatoon series, was the Professor who owned Judd and Tatar part of Alterna or Ark Polaris?

@Croctopus The Mario Movie team contextualised the floating blocks as having 'floatanium' in them which the Toads apparently mine.
Whether this is canon or not is debatable!

@Fizza Y’know, if Pokemon Z ever happened (or happens, I still have a sliver of hope OK-), I bet that would’ve been explored a lot more. Maybe similar to how SM had some elements of foreshadowing for USUM?
