Yes, yes, First World Problems. Anyhow, most gamers I've talked to have a rather sizable backlog of unfinished and never-started games. So, what I want to know is, how you do you manage your backlog?

Lately, I've adopted three general guidelines (not always consistently followed, but they have helped nonetheless):
1) I must finish a certain number of unfinished backlogged titles before starting a new game
2) I must finish a certain number of unplayed backlogged titles before buying new games
3) Once I start a game on a system, I have to first finish that game before starting a new game on that system

Might I recommend to you the Backloggery website? It's a good way of keeping track of what games you've beaten or not, what games you're in the process of playing, and how many you have.
