Topic: AMD vs. Intel/Geforce (computer talk, yay!)

@Matt_Barber I go into the "over" analysis because typically, it's all too common for people to only go for Intel/NVIDIA, because... They either think AMD offers no good options, or have been led to believe AMD's alternatives are inadequate... Which was honestly true on the CPU front for 10 years, but isn't true at all anymore, and also really was not true on the GPU front until last year.

The goal of all this is encouraging competition in the marketplace. People should be of the opinion that "you can't go wrong," which is mostly true with a few foibles here and there... but if they were, the market would be more evenly distributed right now. In reality, it's totally, absolutely lopsided. Analyses explaining things in depth is key to countering that imbalance, though it may indeed be overly complicating the matter. It's not an easy problem to fix, though...
