@blindsquarel Man I kind of want to play it again...
Also I deleted my Origami king save file to play it again and then got bored and stopped so i can play that again too ig.
Space and Games are similar. Space is endless and new stuff is out there waiting to be discovered. Games are always being made but the creativity is different from one game to another and so many more ideas still haven't been imagined or created yet. (That came out better than expected lol)
Am I the only one who, for the most part, prefers the base Pokemon games to their third versions?
Gen 1: I prefer selecting one of Bulbasaur/Charmander/Squirtle to starting with Pikachu. Plus the RB sprites have a weird nostalgic charm to them.
Gen 2: No Mareep is a dealbreaker for Crystal. Plus the fire type selection is terrible (where are Magmar and Vulpix?!)
Gen 3: I dislike how they limited trading before you obtain the National Dex in Emerald. Plus minor annoyances like the greater number of (uninteresting) scripted events and phone calls. Battle Frontier is great but I personally don't make much use of it these days.
Gen 4: This is the exception...I think Platinum is a much better game than Diamond/Pearl.
Can't comment on USUM for Gen 7 as...I couldn't bring myself to play through Alola a second time.
Am I the only one who doesn't mind the NSO set-up for classic games?
Not so much the drip feeding but the subscription formula as it lets me dabble in games that I would never have dreamed of playing.
If I ever had a dream about Kuru Kuru Kururin, I'd probably wake up in a cold sweat!

@Nintoz
I wish we could still download games like maybe an active switch online member could pay 10 or so dollars for a game to be downloaded permanently.
Or maybe a tier that costs around $70-$80 that allows you to pick out 5-10 games you want permanently.
Currently playing: Pokemon Soul Silver, Mario RPG
Enos 1:15
I'm probably the only one in these boards who never had a PS4. Mainly because Sony's newer first-party exclusives did not make a good first impression on me. I tried out Uncharted and God of War (the PS4 one)... but I just didn't like them for some reason. So, outside of PC, I exclusively went with Nintendo ever since the 8th console generation.
@Buizel@blindsquarel Yeah the option would be nice especially for the Expansion Pack games!
A tier system like that was something I had in mind too that lets you pick out a handful of games you'd like.
Am I the only one who feels like Omega Strikers was a bit overhyped? I played it for a few days, but I didn’t really enjoy as much as I hoped. I’m thinking of redownloading it and seeing how it’s changed, but I don’t feel super confident in it.
@Moffo I haven't really seen anyone talk about it so personally I wouldn't even call it hyped, let alone overhyped, but I'm sure it depends where you look. I think I downloaded it but never actually played it? Probably should give it a go before it goes the way of Knockout City, Pac-Man 99, etc.
@EaglyBird Ohhhh yeah ik who that is, very messed up family channel stuff right there.

@Dogorilla DUDE knockout city was THE BEST, I played that game sooooooooo much and had so many items, animations, etc and then it just shut down... Still sad about that

@MarioLover92 You are in fact NOT the only one.
I have NEVER EVER had any video game console that wasn't Nintendo.
Sony/PlayStation games never really interested me and Xbox sucks (imo) so I have (and probably always will) been a Nintendo fan for as long as I can remember.

Am I the only one who thinks the NSMB games aren't that bad? I have played all of them (except Deluxe) and I can admit they could get a bit bland but I think they were still fun.
Looking forward to Mario Bros Wonder btw but I think the New series was pretty good.

@GalaxicGlobe I only played Knockout City a little bit but it was fun, shame it didn't last long. Apparently it's still playable on PC with private servers though.
The NSMB games are almost objectively high-quality platformers and I really like them, it's just that people got sick of them releasing so close together (for 2 and U at least) and all being very similar to each other.
@Dogorilla Yeah Ko city was fun, I got to play with the devs once.
And i guess I can get getting sick of the "same game" releasing year after year.

@blindsquarel I did hear that the recent Spider-Man games were really good, yeah. That's something I've not tried out, admittedly, though I'm not too much of a comic book guy, lol. I'd probably like the newer Ratchet & Clank games as well. But yeah... most of Sony's newer stuff just wasn't my cup of tea I guess.
@GalaxicGlobe I did actually have a PlayStation 2, that was the first non-Nintendo console that I had. I do like the more old-school PlayStation games like Jak and Daxter, but for some reason the newer Sony games just didn't sit well with me. Stuff like Uncharted felt more like an interactive movie than a game.
As for the New Super Mario Bros. games, I do actually like them as well. They do kind of blend together and they may not have as much character as the older 2D Mario games, but I still had fun with them.
@EaglyBird Whoops, missed your reply as I was typing my last post. My mistake, I normally don't double post like that, lol. Anyway, that's cool you like them. I've been into games since the mid-to-late 90s and I've always had the most fun with Nintendo's games.
