Since everything 90's seems to be getting a reboot, I firmly believe that the plot of Starfox64 could be converted into an amazing series. Think about it:
The Lylat system, torn asunder by feudal conflicts is finally at peace thanks to advancements in communication and robotics research headed by the the Freehold of Corneria. However, Andross, one of Lylat's best and brightest researchers defects with a sizable force and threatens to overrule the fledgling peace within the galaxy.
Left with no choice and little resources, a recently formed federation of planets scrambles a squadron of elite warriors to end Andross' insurrection. Months pass, but the squadron, lead by the capable and compassionate Commander Peppy O'hare, finally obtains intelligence on the whereabouts of Andross' secret hideaway on the planet Venom.
The squadron then succeed in infiltrating the nefarious scientist's lair, however are unable to reign in the mastermind himself, due to the unanticipated betrayals of members within the squadron headed Captain Wolf O'donell and Lieutenant Pigma Dengar. Most within the squadron are killed, yet, thanks to the daring sacrifice of one young talented pilot, Captain James MC cloud, the base upon Venom is destroyed.
Years pass..Many have forgotten....
Yet,
The Lylat system remains uncertain in its future.
With a lethal mind, and notorious traitors still at large,
only a veteran with broken trust, and a war orphan still remember...
