The reason I think this would be a good idea is because an app is easier to use on a touchscreen device since it is specifically designed for it and an app could allow customisable features such as favourite news categories.

@Sparkyboy6 thanks for the suggestion, we've got lots of things we want to do this year... all of which will make the website better for everyone.

We've considered doing an app before, but with limited resources I think - for now at least - the website will get 100% of our attention.
