I bought the Autobots version today from Target. It came with a free Transformers figure. I've only played the first three levels of the game and so far...it's a mixed bag. Half of the game--weapon/item upgrades, customized stats, slicker environments, tighter control--is much improved from the original, while the other half--no open world, absence of cutscenes, little story--disappoints me. If you ever try it out, tell me what you think.
