The revenge of the fallen DS games is upon us. The people with vicarious visions promised to expand upon everything that made the first Pokemon-esque DS releases very awesome and either improve or obliterate the things that brought them down. I enjoyed the original Deceptions version thoroughly, very much opposite of the majority of reviews for these games, including our very own Nintendo Life critique. (It earned a mortifying 4 out of 10. Read the review.) I would give the first Transformers Decepticons a 7.9 or higher... your thoughts? Also, if you've bought the new editions, sound off on them too.

I had the first movie's Autobot version, and i was pleased with it for the most part

However, it definitely isn't worth $30! if you can find it for under $15, then get the version that you would enjoy more

Yeah I'd like to know this as well. I bough the Autobots version and I really liked it. The wifi mode with the challanges and all that made it really unique.

I've never seen the movies and I don't plan on it. They just don't suit me. The cartoons are what I'll always hold dear and I don't want my impressions of them tarnished.

First of all, guys: this topic isn't for ranting about the suckiness of the new movies; everyone already knows they're bad. I'm simply curious as to whether you liked the first games or not and if you've played the new ones yet.

I played the Decpticons version of the original to 100 % completion. (Except for those transformations you could only get from Target or something.)

Looking back on it, that was a very mediocre game. Why did I play it so much?
