I am getting this game, and will update this post with my impressions.

Feel free to post your own on the beautiful game. Heh.

I'd like to see how this stacks up to Rytmik (or however the hell it's spelled), but that's just me.

Exactly.

So far, after just messin' around with it, kinda fun. Solo mode is not anything great though.

Anyone else have any more impressions? I'm wondering if I should get Rytmik, or save the 300 points and get this.

Check out my classy comics.

Ok, I take back what I said about solo mode. It is fun, although I wish you could make it play a sharp or flat without changing the key.

The layout of the Block mode is a bit too small, and it needs a shortcut for play.

If you want to create an original song, this probably is not great for that. If you want a digital version of something you have sheetmusic of, this might work well.

Thank you, that is what I wanted to know. I want Rytmik because I often have a tune in my head I need to jot down, and now that I know Rytmik is the best way to do that, I will pick it up in two weeks

@Starcross64 Yeah, if you were trying to choose between the two, I would wait for Rytmik.

Having a button shortcut to the play button, it would make it a LOT better for jotting down a tune.

Kinda wish that I had saved my points, but I may just need to get used to it.

I am loving this so far... especially the ability to save your creations, that's awesome, and its about time a dsiware game offered this level of creative freedom (like Flipnote did so well.) I actually love that the game is all skin and bones... makes it easier to use and the slightly blocky feel of the app has wowed me over. More like this, please! I've already created a few melodies that I am very happy with and saved for future reference. This is a great app to toy around with, too
