Topic: Blood Bowl

This is a game I've been very much looking forward to ever since the DS version was announced. I remember first seeing the original version in a (real) game shop when I was quite young. I've always been intrigued by its violent fantasy football take - I'm sorry but regular American football is about as boring as a sports can get. Unfortunately, I've never gotten around to actually playing the game since, so this may be the first real opportunity for me. Seeing as it does seem to be replicating the actual board game it should make for a good fit for the DS. A few screenshots of said version.

I've tried looking up an actual release date, but I've only come up with one site claiming it has been released already while most everybody else seems to be displaying it as a tentative June release. It certainly doesn't seem to be available anywhere yet. Still, this is one I've very much got my eye on.

Kinda reminds me of Mutant League for the Genesis. I loved that game.

Thanks for the heads up, I wasn't aware of this one before. For some reason this kinda reminds me of the good old "Brutal Sports Football" for Amiga.

For some reason it makes me think more of M.U.D.S. (Mean Ugly Dirty Sports). I used to play that game to death on my Amiga.

Edit: Huh, funny how I didn't remember that one. I just watched a video of Brutal Sports Football. I had that one, too. It was always great when I got to decapitate my brother's players and kick their heads around. Yeah, that game really does come the closest to Blood Bowl mentality-wise. Mutant League Football seems quite tame, in comparsion.
