As a loyal Star Wars fan I was taking a look at the latest issue of Star Wars Insider Magazine and I noticed a special section regarding the Super Star Wars games and how they've been released on the Wii in the Virtual Console and I couldn't help but wonder if we might get The Super Star Wars Trilogy on the Nintendo 3DS in the 3DS Virtual Console?

What do you guys think? Is there a possibility?

Doubt it. Nintendo will probably try focusing on GB, GBA (eventually), and GBC games to re-release on the 3DS. Since Super Star Wars wasn't on any of those, they might not release it. It depends on whether or not they add console titles to the 3DS VC.

The chances of us receiving the Super Star Wars trilogy on the 3DS Virtual Console is next to none. No handheld games have been supported on the Wii's Virtual Console yet, so based off that, we shouldn't really expect any console games to hit handheld as well.

Yes, you've got a point there my friend. Well, I suppose we'll have to wait and see while praying and yammering for more Star Wars to LucasArts and Nintendo.
