Hey guys, I heard that the Zelda 3DS XL has the tendency to have it's hinges scratched after a while from forums and such? How would you guys recommend to protect the hinges from being scratched, if it is possible? I ask because I have a Zelda 3DS XL that doesn't have any scratches on the hinge or anywhere, so I want to keep it that way. Any advice or insight will be greatly appreciated and thank you!!!

Don't open or close it ever again. Put it in an airtight container on a shelf out of the way of everything. It will never be scratched, that way.

Lol, ha ha... well, I guess a better question would be is there any protector that can protect the 3DS XL hinges from being scratched?

A clear Skinomi or InvisibleShield might help.

Like the guy who said above me, never use it, use another one that you don't care about, and only bring it out to impress your friends.

Nothing last in perfect condition forever.

Mine is cracked up all over. Even the corners of the hinge where the light is chipped off.
