Hey I just got a nintendo 3ds xl of my cosin and would like to factory reset it however whenever I go to the format system memory it says it's unable to without WiFi I was wondering if there is a different way as I can't get the WiFi connected
@Not_max908 You might get an answer quicker via contacting Nintnedo support. Very few people here answer tech questions - I can probably count them on one hand, believe it or not.
I'll speculate: Maybe you need to delete, or unlink, the previous owner's nintendo account? (During the 3DS, it was called Nintendo ID up until 2019-ish, I think?). I'm having a hard time finding anything relevant on Nintendo's support site, which is surprising, since they are pretty thorough with providing directions for most everything.
