Has anyone seen the last Japanese trailer? It has spoilers..... but it is a pretty big turnabout at the end of the trailer! It is already looking better than Dual Destinies!
There is the trailer, and once again, it has spoilers.
On another topic, I think I'll get the trilogy from the eshop and sell my copies of Justice for all and Trials and Tribulations - I want all my copies in the same medium.
I'm worried about they bringing old characters back, on DD many of they were just there for fanservice's sake.

@LinkSword Klavier in case 3 was disappointing. Was the definition of a cameo/tease, as he was only 'prosecuting' the mock-mock trial that lasted 5 minutes. Hopefully the returning characters in this game get their due time in the spotlight.

I can agree about Klavier - to be honest I forgot about him even being there - but while Pearls' appearance is fanservice in the DLC chapter, remember she's the one who brings Maya's letter to Phoenix in - I think - the fifth case.
Might seem a minor detail at first glance, but it provides a sort of continuity with two beloved, important characters of the franchise who didn't get as much as a mention in the previous main game. It lets us know that they're doing alright and still care to have a connection with Nick. It basically puts us in a familiar, pleasant ground after AA4 left us in an alienating setting where most of the pillars in Phoenix's life prior to losing his badge - Maya, Edgeworth - are gone. It could be said that going for that is not so different from the fanservice of a good cameo, but I argue there are nuances.
Plus, it served the purpose of cheering Phoenix up at a time where the weight of the case at hand was becoming too much for him. I also disagree about Pearls behaving like she's 8. Sure, she still has some of her endearing mannerisms - however, it's clear she matured to me.
As for Edgeworth, it kind goes back to what I was saying before about familiarity, but yeah, he didn't have a character arc to fulfill in the newest plot so any other prosecutor could have done the part. It wouldn't have been near as enjoyable, though.
GODOT! That coffee loving coffee throwing cyborg. We ought to find out what happened to Maya. Strangely Pearl showed up in Dual Destinies but not Maya...odd. @-Godot

That looks amazing!! Maya, Trucy, Ema, Phoenix vs Apollo are all in there. Edgeworth is nowhere to be seen though...would have been estatic with a Kay cameo even. @Luna_110

@LemonSlice Review-wise it did well. I think the biggest thing were the sales numbers, though they seem good from what I seen (can't attest to the accuracy of the numbers). I have yet to play it yet because I need to get through trilogy first. The main thing for most of PW fans is that we want more of it, but if were heading into the same territories (i.e. mechanics) we'll eventually get bored.
TGS looks fantastic, plays fantastic, and I for one am most intrigued by the jury system, which I think damn cool. I just worry that them not willing to take risks on fantastic spin-off series will translate into them not even trying to gives us anything fresh anymore. Which, in the same vein, has me concerned for Monster Hunter Stories, while I'm not a fan of the series, Stories looks amazing, and I would buy it hands down. Its just an unsettling trend.
Yea it's going to be good, but the US and EU sales are gonna be driving factors us getting anything else that's relevant from capcom. I'm still hoping for MH: Stories, or The Great Ace Attorney, I can dream.
